Your Insider's Guide To TES Seville

We are absolutely buzzing for TES Seville guys, and our prep wouldn’t be complete without sharing our guide to this beautiful city (with some help from a local expert).
First of all, we love this conference, it really kicks off the year. It’s a chance to get some much needed vitamin D with friends after a long, bleak winter and of course a chance to have some extremely important business meetings (aka tapas and beers).
To help you navigate the city like a pro, we’ve made contact with an insider. A friend of Nova, who is a lifelong Sevillano, has helped us create this essential guide to the city. No tourist traps, no BS—just solid recommendations so you can eat well, drink well, and have a ball.
For Traditional Local Cuisine
A ‘taste of the city’ - that’s what everyone wants when they go somewhere, right? We’ll, that’s what you’ll get here. This place is the heartbeat of the city, and has been feeding hungry Sevillanos with amazing tapas since way back in 1670. It’s older than the United States!
Order some espinacas con garbanzos (spinach with chickpeas), jamón ibérico, and a cold beer. It’s busy, it’s loud, and the bartenders will write your bill in chalk on the counter like they’ve been doing for centuries. It doesn’t get more classic than this.
Best Place For A Beer
Looking for an old-school Spanish bar that just feels right? Casa Morales is your spot. It’s been around since 1850, with giant wine barrels lining the walls and an atmosphere that makes you want to order another round (or three).
Pair your beer with some simple yet perfect tapas like cured meats and cheese, and you’ll be living your best Sevillano life.
Best Seafood Spot
OK, now we’re getting serious. If seafood is your thing, Cañabota is where you need to be. It’s a high-end (1 Michelin star) but unpretentious seafood temple where everything is impossibly fresh and grilled to perfection.
If you want to feel fancy but still devour a ridiculous amount of fish, this is the place. We recommend you get a table at the counter and watch the chefs work their magic.
To Wow A Client
If you want your client to think you’re a sophisticated business genius, take them to Abantal. It serves modern Andalusian cuisine that looks like art but tastes even better. Expect a tasting menu that will make you nod thoughtfully and say, “Ah yes, the umami” while pretending you know what umami is.
Cocktails With A View
If you want to sip a cocktail while pretending you're in a movie scene, María Trifulca is your place.
This riverside spot has one of the best rooftop terraces in Seville, with killer views of the city and a menu full of solid cocktails. Order a classic Americano (the aperitif, not the coffee), kick back, and soak up the vibes. Perfect for a sunset drink before heading out for dinner—or just staying for another round.
Where To Shake Your Ass
Look, sometimes you need to let loose after talking about CPCs and ROIs all day. Terraza Alfonso is an open-air nightclub in María Luisa Park where you can dance under the stars with a mix of reggaeton, house, and Latin beats.
It’s got a cool crowd, great DJs, and enough space for you to show off your questionable but enthusiastic dance moves. Just make sure you don’t schedule an 8 AM meeting the next day.
Now You're Ready!
There you have it—your no-BS guide to eating, drinking, and partying your way through Seville. Now go forth, make some memories, eat too much jamón, and pretend that the conference was the main reason you came here. If you’re looking for us, we’ll be at Atrio I, Booth 1, and table 62 at the Meet Market - ready to talk business and have some fun. ¡Salud!
